How we can work together

Scope and way of working are adapted to your needs. Pricing is agreed after reviewing the task.

01

Project work

We take over a defined development package – from problem definition to analysis, testing and documentation.

Suited for: a new product, component, prototype or technical problem.

02

Working with your team

We join an existing project and take on individual tasks alongside your engineers.

Suited for: busy teams, peak workloads, specialist tasks.

03

Monthly development support

An agreed monthly capacity you can use for different tasks as needs arise.

Suited for: ongoing support without hiring another engineer.

04

Specialist support

We step in when a problem needs special expertise – analysis, assessment, validation.

Suited for: demanding analyses, decisions, research work.

How it works

  1. Talk

You describe the problem or idea; we define the goal together.

  2. Proposal

We prepare scope, timeline and way of working.

  3. Delivery

    Analysis, design, measurements, testing.

  4. Handover

    Report, documentation and knowledge transfer.

About

A team that bridges engineering and science

FormaSolve is an engineering and R&D company bridging academic knowledge and industrial needs. Our goal is not only to analyse problems but to develop solutions with measurable technical and business value.

A larger team of MSc engineers from different technical fields stands behind our projects. We also collaborate with scientists and research institutions, so for each project we can assemble a team covering mechanics, electronics, software and research.

The company is led by Dr. Aljaž Litrop: electrical technician, MSc in mechanical engineering and PhD (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana). His experience spans electrical engineering, the automotive industry, science and research, metrology, and crane and hoist design.

Frequently asked questions

What is FEM analysis and when do I need it?

The finite element method (FEM) uses a computer model to predict stresses, deformations, temperatures or vibrations of a product. It is useful in new development, mass and cost optimisation and in finding the cause of failure – before you build or test the product.

Do you help with failure and fatigue analysis?

Yes. We determine the causes of cracks and failures, estimate component life by calculation and testing, and advise on design improvements.

Do you help with funding applications (SPIRIT, SPS, Horizon)?

Yes. We help find calls, prepare the application and financial plan, manage the project and write reports, with special attention to start-ups.

How does collaboration work and when do I get a quote?

We first discuss your task. Then we prepare a proposal for scope and way of working (project, work with your team, monthly support or specialist help) and agree on the price.
